Cloud Support Engineer Diploma

2. Cloud Infrastructure: Students gain an understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage systems, and networking. They learn how to provision and manage these resources in a cloud environment.

3. Cloud Networking: This module focuses on networking in the cloud, including virtual networks, subnets, and IP addressing. Students learn how to configure network security groups, load balancers, and virtual private networks (VPNs) in a cloud environment.

4. Cloud Security: Students study cloud security principles and best practices. They learn about identity and access management, encryption, security groups, and data protection measures in the cloud. They also explore compliance requirements and security audits.

5. Cloud Deployment and Management: Students gain hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud resources. They learn how to create virtual machines, configure storage and networking, and automate deployments using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

6. Monitoring and Troubleshooting in the Cloud: This module focuses on monitoring and troubleshooting techniques for cloud environments. Students learn about cloud monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance optimization. They also study troubleshooting methodologies to identify and resolve common issues.

7. Cloud Service Management: Students explore service management aspects of cloud computing, including service-level agreements (SLAs), incident management, change management, and service catalog management. They learn how to handle service requests, manage incidents, and communicate effectively with customers.

8. Cloud Backup and Disaster Recovery: Students learn about backup and disaster recovery strategies in the cloud. They study data backup methodologies, replication techniques, and disaster recovery planning. They also explore high availability and fault-tolerant architectures in the cloud.

9. Cloud Cost Optimization: This module focuses on optimizing cloud costs and managing resource usage efficiently. Students learn about cost estimation, cost allocation, and cost optimization techniques in a cloud environment. They explore tools and strategies to monitor and control cloud spending.

10. Cloud Governance and Compliance: Students gain an understanding of cloud governance frameworks and compliance requirements. They learn how to define cloud governance policies, establish access controls, and ensure regulatory compliance. They also explore risk management and data privacy considerations.

11. Cloud Case Studies and Projects: Students work on real-world case studies and projects to apply their knowledge and skills in practical scenarios. They collaborate on cloud deployment and management projects, troubleshooting exercises, and cloud optimization tasks.
