1. Introduction to Maritime Law: An overview of the principles, sources, and scope of maritime law, including its historical development and its role in international trade and transportation.

2. International Maritime Conventions: In-depth study of key international conventions and treaties governing various aspects of maritime law, such as the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), and International Maritime Organization (IMO) conventions.

3. Admiralty Law: Examination of the legal framework governing admiralty and maritime jurisdiction, including maritime liens, vessel arrests, salvage, collision, and limitation of liability.

4. Carriage of Goods by Sea: Study of legal principles and regulations concerning the transportation of goods by sea, including bills of lading, charter parties, cargo claims, and international trade terms.

5. Marine Insurance: Analysis of the legal aspects of marine insurance, including the types of marine insurance policies, rights and obligations of parties, claims handling, and marine insurance contracts.

6. Maritime Dispute Resolution: Overview of the methods of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in the maritime context, including arbitration, mediation, and conciliation. Focus on the specific procedures and practices applicable to maritime disputes.

7. Marine Environmental Law: Exploration of the legal framework and regulations addressing environmental issues in the maritime industry, including pollution prevention, response to marine incidents, and protection of marine ecosystems.

8. Maritime Commercial Law: Study of the legal aspects of maritime commerce, including charter parties, bills of exchange, letters of credit, ship financing, and maritime contracts.

9. Port and Terminal Operations: Examination of legal issues related to port and terminal operations, including port authorities, terminal concessions, cargo handling, and port security.

10. Case Studies and Practical Applications: Analysis of real-world cases and scenarios to apply legal principles and regulations in practical contexts, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
