The program operates on an open enrollment basis, and there are no specific entry requirements. Individuals with a genuine interest in the subject matter are welcome to participate.

 

1. Fundamentals of Animation: This course introduces the principles of animation, including timing, spacing, squash and stretch, and anticipation. Students learn how to create believable and expressive character movements.

2. 3D Modeling: Students learn the basics of 3D modeling, including creating and manipulating 3D objects, character modeling, and environment design. They learn to use industry-standard software for modeling purposes.

3. Texturing and Shading: This course covers the techniques of texturing and shading 3D models to give them realistic surfaces, materials, and visual details. Students learn to create textures, apply materials, and work with lighting to enhance the overall look of the models.

4. Rigging and Character Animation: Students learn the process of rigging, which involves creating a skeleton structure for characters and defining their range of movements. They also learn to animate characters using keyframes, motion capture, and other animation techniques.

5. Visual Effects: This course focuses on creating various visual effects, such as particle systems, dynamics, and simulations. Students learn to add realistic simulations of fire, water, smoke, and other natural phenomena to their animations.

6. Compositing and Post-Production: Students learn the art of compositing, which involves combining multiple elements, such as 3D renders, live-action footage, and visual effects, to create a final, seamless composition. They also learn about color grading, editing, and other post-production techniques.

7. Portfolio Development: Throughout the program, students work on building a professional portfolio that showcases their best work. They receive guidance on presenting their projects effectively and preparing for job interviews and industry opportunities.

8. Industry Software and Tools: Students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software used in the animation and visual effects industry, such as Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and others. They learn to utilize these tools effectively to create high-quality animations and visual effects.
